Jockey's Association remembers Queen's love for horses

The Queen was a well-known lover of horses, and horse racing. She inherited her father's stables upon his death, and was the Patron of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders' Association. Here in New Zealand, jockeys wore black armbands and observed a moment's silence before the races at Ruakaka and Hastings.
