A new report analysing $178 million of investment into charities, finds just 13 per cent of people receive 73 per cent of investment.
The report is by social analytics firm ImpactLab and wealth management firm Jarden, and analyses over 100 programmes to provide a snapshot of the charitable sector's impact.
ImpactLab Chairman, Former Prime Minister Sir Bill English, joins Kathryn, along with Jarden Head of Wealth Solutions Chris Wilson to discuss what the report reveals about the impact of the charitable sector.
