Summer Thieves came together as a Dunedin high school band that played teen parties.
After a string of single releases, in 2017 the band released their debut album Warped.
Now based in Auckland, they're celebrating the release of their new offering Cigarettes in Space with shows in Wellington and Auckland next month.
Summer Thieves play at Miaow in Wellington on 9 September and The Powerstation in Auckland on 15 September.
