Fear of modern medicine preventing breast cancer treatment in Fiji

From the collecton The House On Demand

Fiji MP Lenora Qereqeretabua says a fear of 'going under the knife' is preventing women from seeking treatment for breast cancer.

Qereqeretabua spoke with New Zealand National MP Harete Hipango at a fundraiser for breast cancer awareness at Fiji's Parliament.

The two MPs shared their thoughts on access to health services and the difficulty different communities face.

This interview is part of a series on the Speaker-led delegation to Tonga and Fiji. The full coverage can be found here.
