NZEI schools survey

A survey by the New Zealand Educational Institute shows just over half of kiwi primary schools believe they do not have all the teachers they need, and 30 percent of principles say they are no suitable applicants for vacancies.

It's one of the reasons that class sizes are getting bigger.

The panelists tell us if they're surprised by these figures, and what they think needs to be done.
