Kakapo baby boom has sad side

New Zealand is in the midst of far and away the best kakapo breeding season ever. The total adult population of these endangered birds is just 142. But this season 86 chicks have hatched the next best season was 34. It was an outstanding success and then the birds started catching aspergillosis. RNZ's Alison Ballance talks about what's going on with these beautiful birds.
