We're going to head to the deep south now - and it was 24 years ago when a Hui-a-Tau at Kaikoura laid out a 25 year vision for the future of Ngai Tahu. As the iwi itself states "Ngai Tahu 2025 is about tino rangatiratanga. It is about the ability to create and control our destiny. It is our tribal map that in the year 2025 will have carried us to the place where we are empowered as individuals, whanau, hapu, Papatipu Runanga and iwi to realise and achieve our dreams."
