Episode 112 features new music from Salif Keita, described as the ‘Golden Voice of Africa’ and a track he recorded with Ladysmith Black Mambazo; new music from Estonian singer Maarja Nuut who promises to be one of the discoveries of the 2019 Womad weekend. Also Ex Mamaku Project vocalist, Tui Mamaki who has a new solo album that she wrote and recorded while she was living in Bulgaria … and we also acknowledge the incredible musical legacy of the late English folk guitarist, Davy Graham, who was born on the 26th of November 1940.
